Community Pharmacy
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy serves one of the most vulnerable segments of our community: the indigent, sick, and elderly who are on a fixed income and cannot afford needed medication prescribed by their physician.
These are the men, women.... and children who, because of their inability to have
prescriptions filled often suffer more serious and often more chronic illnesses than originally diagnosed. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy, which operated on donations of funds and medicines from the medical and pharmaceutical communities, non-medical and pharmaceutical businesses, and caring individuals, has filled a large and critical gap which has existed for many years, simply by providing necessary prescribed medicines free of charge for people who cannot pay.
The Pharmacy is located at 1995 Gentilly Boulevard
